Now I normally wouldn't submit something like this but since its been so long since I've submitted I decided too.

It's very simple, just a minimal homepage for a fashion site.

Just noticed they've taken off 'Critique Discouraged' option...how annoying.

Excellent choice of image; it really compliments the simplicity and style of the design.

I was wondering if, when you design homepages like this, you are ever thinking ahead of what the rest of the site will look like? I have been playing with this style of homepage a little bit myself lately, but I can never produce a "matching" content design. Hence my curiosity.

I suppose the other option would be to have a unique design for the homepage and then a different design, with some similarity (i.e. color scheme, navigation, etc.) for the rest of the site.

So again, as a designer, do you ever think of things like this? Or even for just this particular design?

I love the simplicity of it. Great work. I'm not sold on the green search part. The focus points for me are the image, then the header, then the search button. Whereas I think the navigation should be one of the main focus points. Other then that I love it.

very simple design. I like this you should do more of these 'simple designs' I think the navigation needs more work, make it stand out etc.
